What we do

Our registered principal activity is accounting and bookkeeping activities; tax consultancy — TOL 2008 class 69201. In practice that means statutory bookkeeping, financial statements, corporate tax and VAT compliance, and payroll, for businesses rather than individuals.

Alongside that we provide management and business consulting to the same clients: budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and group structure work. It grows out of the accounting relationship rather than being sold separately, which is why the advice tends to start from figures we already maintain.

Our name

The company was registered as Savon Tilipiste Oy until 21 December 2022, when it was renamed Elegian Oy. The Business ID, the registration and the address did not change — only the name. Savon Tilipiste remains registered as an auxiliary trade name.

We mention it because a search against Business ID 0164516-9 will show both names, and you should not have to wonder why.

Independence

Elegian Oy is an accounting and advisory firm, not an audit firm. Where a statutory audit is required, it is performed by an independent authorised auditor; under the Finnish Auditing Act the firm that maintains a company’s books cannot also issue its audit opinion. We prepare the audit file, answer the auditor’s queries and manage the timetable.
